Products

We convert a vast array of products covering the whole wood based sheet material spectrum, from the standard P2 chipboard products through to the full range of plywoods and decorative MFC boards. All these products can be converted to suit our customers specific needs, be it by CNC routering or edged all round MFC or simply cut to size.

Chipboard

The chipboard manufacturers we use are all UK based mills, Kronospan, Egger and Norbord. They produce a range of chipboard products that cover 99% of all our customers needs.

  1. 8mm to 38mm P2 Chipboard
  2. 2440 x 1220 to 5600 x 2070
  3. 18mm 2400 x 600 F/Grade board
  4. 38mm HD 2400 x 600 T & G board
  5. FSC and PEFC certified

MDF

The MDF manufacturers that we use are from UK and Irish based mills, Kronospan, Medite and Norbord. They produce a vast range of MDF products that cover all our customers needs.

  1. 3mm to 38mm Std MDF
  2. 6mm to 25mm MR MDF
  3. Various HD and FR thickness
  4. 8 / 15 / 18mm Melamine faced MDF, in a full range of colours
  5. FSC and PEFC Certified

Plywood

I work very closely with Caledonian Plywood Company Ltd as an independent sales agent, they are one of the largest plywood importers in the UK, they hold over 14,000 packs of plywood in stock at their two main logistic sites in the UK, Uddingston and Tilbury. The plywood is sourced from China , Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil ,Russia and many more global locations…any thickness or size variation, species or finish is available from stock. MFC

We have a 130 different colours and finishes available on stock from the Egger range, they are held in both 15mm and 18mm. All these colours can be routered, drilled and machined to individual specification. There is the full edging facility for all these colours in 0.4mm and 2mm.

Hardboard

The hardboard we source comes from Poland and is available in the following dimensions

  1. 2mm – 8mm Std hardboard
  2. 1220/1610 x 1830/2140/2440/2750/3050
  3. 2.4/3mm Painted hardboard
  4. 1220 x 2440/2750
  5. Other types of hardboard are available on request, ie : Oil Tempered or perforated

All the hardboard above is available cut to size direct from the Polish mill in volume.

Softwood

OMB work very closely with HG Timber Ltd based in Milton Keynes to supply softwood products, such as open and close boarded timber decks for the shelving and racking industry. These products go hand in hand with our cut to size panels, also for this industry.

OMB supply timber setting out pegs and profile boards for the housebuilding and site surveying industries in the following sizes.
